Jetpack Plugin by Automatic

Protection against brute force attacks

Data used: To monitor login activity and block potentially fraudulent attempts, the following information is used: trying the user’s IP address, trying the user’s email address/username (i.e., based on the value they tried to use during the login process), and any IP-related HTTP headers associated with the trying user.
Tracked activity: failed login attempts (including IP address and user agent). We also set a cookie (jpp_math_pass) for 1 day to remember if/when a user successfully completed a math captcha to prove they are a real human being. Read more about this cookie.
Data synchronized (?): Failed login attempts, which includes the user’s IP address, attempted username or email address, and user-agent information.

Jetpack statistics

Data used: IP address, WordPress.com user ID (if logged in), WordPress.com user name (if logged in), user-agent, visit URL, referring URL, event timestamp, browser language, country code. Important: The site owner does not have access to this information through this feature. For example, a site owner can see that a specific post has been viewed 285 times, but he/she cannot see which specific users/accounts have viewed that post. Statistics logs – containing visitors’ IP addresses and WordPress.com user names (if available) – are retained by Automattic for 28 days and are used solely to enable this feature.

Tracked activity: post and page views, videos played (if videos are hosted by WordPress.com), clicks on outbound links, referring URLs and search engine terms, and country. With this feature enabled, Jetpack also tracks the performance of every page that loads, including the JavaScript file used for tracking statistics. This is solely for tracking aggregate performance on Jetpack sites to ensure that our plugin and code are not causing performance issues. This includes tracking page load times and resource load times (image files, JavaScript files, CSS files, etc.). The site owner has the ability to force this feature to respect visitors’ DNT settings. By default, DNT is currently not honored.

WPML

WPML uses cookies to identify the visitor’s current language, last visited language and the language of users who are logged in.

While using the plug-in, WPML shares data about the site through Installer. No data of the user him or herself is shared.
